Shadowing Program

The Guidance Department offers incoming students an opportunity to shadow a ninth grade student for a day in order to gain an understanding of  expectations at Hackensack High School.

Parents wishing to have their child participate in the shadow program must fill out the application form below. 

Please note, SPACES ARE VERY LIMITED.

Students who are not in good academic standing and/or have discipline or attendance issues will not be permitted to partcipate.  

Not all students who register will able to be accomodated. 

Shadowing will only occur on the following dates:

Nov 12 & 19, 2026

Dec. 3 & 17, 2026

Jan 14 & 28, 2027

Feb 4 & 11, 2027

March 4 & 18, 2027

April 15 & 22, 2027

May 2, 2027
